Position Overview:
As a Senior Account Strategist at Elevated Third, you will be the driving force behind our client relationships, ensuring we deliver exceptional results while balancing client expectations and agency capabilities. You’ll master the art of communication, adeptly navigating client needs and fostering long-term partnerships. Your blend of energy, idealism, and pragmatism will help you thrive in our dynamic, results-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Collaborate with leadership to manage assigned clients, including scope and deliverables, while overseeing $1 to $1.5MM in revenue.
- Utilization Goals: Contribute to the number of projects that meet utilization targets, maintaining a billable target of 65% and ensuring a portfolio/client margin of 65%.
- Revenue Growth: Drive organic growth by expanding the existing client base by $1MM annually, identifying and leading opportunities for growth.
- Financial Oversight: Enter time and monitor project Earned At Completion (EAC), escalating issues proactively to mitigate financial risks and maintain budget compliance.
- Project Coordination: Partner with lead project managers to monitor deliverable activities, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget while providing team members with the necessary inputs.
- Client Accountability: Maintain weekly contact with day-to-day client representatives to manage deliverables, holding clients accountable to defined scopes and addressing incremental requests as they arise.
- Strategic Conversations: Engage clients in discussions about their business needs, pulling in Elevated Third SMEs when appropriate to deepen the conversation.
- Discovery Phase Leadership: Act as the primary client contact during the discovery phase, facilitating knowledge transfer about Elevated Third’s expertise beyond industry specifics.
- Account Plan Development: Assist in developing comprehensive account plans and understanding the Fast Track Framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience delivering digital work in an agency or client-side environment.
- Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships, including a demonstrated ability to close a $1MM quota.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building rapport and trust.
- Ability to have difficult conversations and hold clients accountable to their commitments.
- Decisive, organized, and efficient, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and analytics is a plus.
