Elevated Third is a thriving, digital agency located in the heart of downtown Denver. We don’t have any ninjas or rockstars working here. While we appreciate the passion and dedication that go into those vocations, we’ve found that throwing stars and lightning­-fast arpeggios are not the skills we need to turn out great digital work. We are headquartered in Denver, we are looking to bring someone on in a full-time remote capacity. 
As a senior digital strategist at Elevated Third, you make strategies real with a data-driven, integrated marketing conversion-focused mindset and a tenacity for optimization. You bring energy to the team. You bring curiosity. You can't stand not knowing and can't help but dig, learn and figure things out by bringing insights to the team, not reports.

You have experience with organic and paid search optimization, keyword and content strategy, and social media marketing. Your expertise goes wide across many channels, and deep into 2-3. You don’t have to know everything, but you know a lot! Your best friends are spreadsheets, GA, GTM, Screaming Frog and SEMRush. In short, you live and breathe your expertise.

Your resume and/or website and experience should show a proven track record of uncovering insights and optimization that drives results.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading digital marketing strategy projects for clients
  • Providing feedback and coaching to junior strategists
  • Deriving actionable insights from analytics/data
  • Ongoing SEO strategy and execution for sites before/after launch with tangible SERP results. Local and long-tail. Site crawls (Screaming Frog), evaluations and analysis to assist UX team
  • Keyword research and analysis
  • Implement tracking and monitoring plans using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics dashboards
  • Working with developers and design teams on best practices, trends, algorithm updates and implementation
  • Plan and implement content strategies
  • Review current digital strategies and identify gaps and weaknesses and make recommendations for optimizing/improving the strategy
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders and deliver client presentations 
  • Site redirect planning, execution and testing
  • Social media management
  • Analyze paid media campaigns, implement new campaigns, and execute across channels, using paid and social media platforms and analytics tools.

Requirements:

  • 7-9 years of experience in a client-facing digital marketing role 
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 3 years management experience overseeing client deliverables and strategy
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Creative problem solver, self-motivated
  • Communicate professionally and always through a strategic lens
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Positivity and a drive to succeed
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team, yet be comfortable running a project or task independently.
  • Understanding of technical website attributes (HTML tags, javascript, differentiating code IT implementations and CMS implementations)
  • SEO campaign management (content, link building, technical optimizations)
  • Understanding of how social media impacts SEO and how to effectively manage social campaigns
  • PPC campaign management
  • Exposure and familiarity of various tools:
  • Google Analytics (set-up, tracking and reporting)
  • Tag Management Software (GTM, Adobe, Tealium)
  • Paid and organic search tools (SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Moz, SpyFu, ahrefs) 
  • Google Adwords management experience
  • Experience working inside or with a digital marketing agency as a partner
  • Ability to consult on SEO best practices within design
  • Benchmark and performance reporting

Nice to haves:

  • Email marketing management experience
  • Marketing automation and ABM tools such as Marketo, Hubspot, or Pardot
  • Demandbase,Terminus, Sixth Sense

The salary range for this position is $100-130k - based on experience and location
